It is a momentous day for us at Sleek today. We are incredibly proud to have become a B Corp certified company. Since we started our journey in 2017, we have been committed to building Sleek as a force for good. It is humbling that in just over 5 years of our existence we join a community of industry leaders like Patagonia, Ben & Jerrys, and P&G who are building towards a vision of an inclusive, equitable, and a regenerative economy.
As a B Corp certified company Sleek joins a community of ~6500 companies globally in more than 80 countries and over 150 industries that are using the power of business to benefit people and the environment. We are also immensely humbled to be the first international incorporation & accounting tech brand in Singapore to receive this certification.
B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab, a non-profit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. Only companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency are awarded this certification.
At Sleek we have been steadfast in our commitment to building for good. We have been championing the entrepreneurial journey for over 450,000 businesses since 2017 helping them set up and manage their businesses in the most seamless and efficient manner possible.
We have also been a flagbearer of sustainability. We have planted over 29,271 trees to reforest our ecosystem and saved 7 tons of paper from landfills by processing over 1.4M pages through SleekSign. We aim to be Carbon Neutral by 2030.
Not only that, building an inclusive community is integral to the Sleek value system and the team spends countless hours volunteering with disadvantaged micro-communities to enable them to build better and stronger businesses.
